Located between 23rd Street and Indian Creek and just south of 63rd Street and Surprise Lake, Mid Beach is the collection of neighborhoods commonly known as Bayshore, Nautilus, and Oceanfront. You’ll find the middle of Mid Beach on 41st Street and the area itself is rich with history, including the famous Collins Waterfront Architectural District.

 

The name comes from the location, being between Miami Beach and South Beach. It may not stand out as much as those two locations, but there is plenty of charm to be found in Mid Beach.

It is true that most children who live in Mid Beach go to private schools, so that may be a consideration if you are thinking of moving to the area. Otherwise, Mid Beach may be the perfect place in terms of location, activities, and features which makes it a wonderful area to live.
