However, transportation to points beyond Dadeland couldn't be easier with the Dadeland South Metrorail system and U.S. Hwy 1 being close by and both just a short commute from downtown Miami and Miami International Airport not to mention the Brickell financial district.

While the downtown area of this neighborhood is mostly multi-family dwellings such as Condo, townhouses, and apartment buildings the outskirts of the neighborhood is has a number of single family homes making this neighborhood a good choice no what type of housing your are looking for.
Dadeland is a middle income neighborhood with a large number of the residents in professional or semi-professional fields. With 43% of the residents holding management or executive positions and others working in the service industry and other fields.
